Vision
The vision of HKGMAM is to proclaim the salvation of Christ Jesus through martial arts.
HKGMAM is an interdenominational ministry. We proclaim the gospel with all kinds of Kung Fu performance. We remove all Asians religious beliefs, violence and superstitions from Kung Fu, proclaims only our Lord Jesus Christ’s teaching, based only one the bible. Martial art is only the mean to proclaim the gospel.
Covenant
(1) Christianity is the foundation of our ministry. The bible is our ultimate authority.
(2) We worship the Trinitarian God and believe the doctrine of Justification by faith.
(3) Our main task is to proclaim the gospel and to train up Christian godliness through Kung Fu.
“He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” Colossians 1:28
Meaning of Emblem
The Cross and the Chinese character “武” is placed at the centre of the triangle. This is illustrating that through the redemption of Jesus Christ, the evil elements of Kung Fu are transformed and we offer it to God to serve Him for His glory. There is no image of a particular kind of Kung Fu technique in the badge because none of them can fully represent the variety of Kung Fu in our ministry. Therefore, we choose the Chinese word “武” as its meaning is not limited to any particular kind of Kung Fu.
Other than that, there are also “S”, “M” and “PH” in the circle. They represent the three principles of our ministry:
- “S” means spiritual
- “M” means mental
- “PH” means physical
We believe that we as a Christian should be fully trained and equipped, then offer ourselves to God for His work. The 5 colors (white, purple, red, green and black) represent the 5 Christian concepts.
- White represents purity, joy and the light of truth.
- Purple represents repentance, soba-mind and discipline.
- Red represents passion and the Holy Spirit.
- Green represents hope, life and nature.
- Black represents mourning
The surrounding black circle highlights the triangle, the cross and “武” at the centre. It means that HKGMAM serves in a dark generation, but with the help of God we proclaim His salvation through sharing the gospel and Kung Fu testimony.
